Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

Welcome to Laras Router ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing our website (larasrouter.com), consuming our API services, or depositing funds to your balance, you ("User", "Customer", or "Developer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the Laras Router website, API gateway endpoints, developer console, documentation, and related features.
  • "Account Balance" means prepaid financial credits held in USD within a user's account used exclusively to pay for AI API token consumption.
  • "API Key" means a unique cryptographic secret token issued to a Customer to authenticate requests against our endpoints.
  • "Upstream Providers" means third-party artificial intelligence foundation model providers (such as DeepSeek) whose models are accessible through the Laras Router gateway.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use Laras Router, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia or your applicable jurisdiction. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account credentials.

4. Description of Services

Laras Router operates an AI API proxy and routing gateway that provides developers with unified, standard access to supported third-party AI models. Laras Router does not develop proprietary foundation model weights; instead, we provide request routing, localized payment settlement, and usage accounting services.

5. API Keys and Security Responsibilities

Customers are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their API keys. Any API requests authenticated with your API key will be attributed to your account and billed against your available Account Balance. If you suspect an API key has been exposed or compromised, you must immediately revoke it via your developer console.

6. Account Balance and Prepaid Billing

Laras Router operates on a prepaid usage model. Customers purchase Account Balance in advance. Before each API request is processed, a hold is reserved against the Account Balance; when the request completes, the hold is settled to the charge for the tokens actually consumed and any remainder is released. Account Balance does not constitute bank deposits, legal tender, or stored digital currency; credits represent prepaid service units redeemable solely for Laras Router API services.

7. Payments, QRIS Settlement, and Currency

Account Balance is denominated and accounted for in United States Dollars (USD).

Top-ups are paid in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) through a licensed payment gateway using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). Each top-up must be between USD 3.00 and USD 100.00, in whole cents. The IDR amount payable is calculated as follows:

  • Exchange rate. The USD-to-IDR rate is set by Laras Router, is reviewed and may change periodically (typically weekly), and includes a conversion buffer over the mid-market rate. The rate applicable to a top-up is shown on the invoice and is fixed for that invoice's validity period of 15 minutes.
  • QRIS admin fee. A QRIS admin fee of 0.70% of the converted amount is added on top of the converted amount. The fee is shown on the invoice before you pay and is not credited to your Account Balance.

Once payment is confirmed, the full USD amount you selected is credited to your Account Balance and will not fluctuate with subsequent currency market movements. Laras Router does not offer promotional or free credit unless expressly stated in writing.

8. Usage Charges and Metering

API requests are metered using the published per-token rates for each model, which distinguish cache-hit input tokens, cache-miss input tokens, and output tokens, based on the token counts reported by the Upstream Provider. Charges are calculated to one billionth of a US dollar, rounded up, and displayed to six decimal places ($0.000001).

API requests are processed while your available Account Balance is above zero, even if it is smaller than the hold for a request. Because a request in progress is charged for the tokens it actually consumes, it may take your Account Balance below zero by no more than USD 1.00. A negative Account Balance is an amount you owe Laras Router and is deducted automatically from your next top-up. While your available Account Balance is zero or below, API requests are rejected with an HTTP 402 (Payment Required) status until you top up.

A request rejected by the Upstream Provider with a client error (HTTP 4xx) is not charged. A request that fails with a server error, times out, or is interrupted may be charged for the usage the Upstream Provider reports for it; if no usage can be established, its hold is released without charge.

9. Third-Party AI Model Providers & Data Handling

AI model completions are generated by third-party upstream providers (currently DeepSeek, which processes requests in the People's Republic of China). While Laras Router strives to maintain high availability and low routing overhead, we act solely as an intermediary proxy. We process request and response payloads ephemerally — routing, metering, and billing each call in memory — and do not persistently store your prompt or completion text on our own servers. We do retain the operational metadata required to meter usage and bill your account (model ID, token counts, HTTP status, charges, and timestamps), and we may retain or disclose that metadata where compelled by lawful process under Indonesian law.

We do not control upstream model availability, output accuracy, provider maintenance, or upstream data processing policies. Request payloads routed to upstream providers are handled subject to each provider's independent terms, acceptable use policies, and privacy terms. Laras Router cannot guarantee or control the independent data handling, temporary abuse-monitoring logging, or operational practices of third-party model providers.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Laras Router services to:

  • Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or deceptive activities.
  • Violate upstream provider acceptable use policies or generate illegal material.
  • Launch denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, brute-force requests, or attempt to compromise gateway infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or intercept proprietary gateway routing software.
  • Resell or sublicense API keys to third parties without prior written authorization from Laras Router.

11. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be 100% error-free or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, endpoint, or supported model with reasonable notice where practicable.

12. Suspension and Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, abuse API endpoints, or violate applicable laws. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

13. Refund, Withdrawal, and Cancellation Policy

All purchases of Account Balance are final, non-refundable, and non-withdrawable, as set forth in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy. Once payment is confirmed and funds are credited to your account, credits cannot be withdrawn to bank accounts or e-wallets, transferred, or exchanged for cash or fiat currency. Account balances do not expire and remain available for API consumption indefinitely. If you are charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a metering error attributable to us), contact us and, once verified, we will correct your Account Balance by a ledger adjustment. Refunds to the original payment method are not offered.

14. Intellectual Property

Laras Router, its logo, brand marks, interface designs, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Laras Router. Customers retain all rights and ownership to the application code they build and the custom prompt inputs they submit through the gateway.

15. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI COMPLETIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, FACTUAL, OR RELIABLE.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LARAS ROUTER OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LARAS ROUTER IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation; if unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Yogyakarta (Pengadilan Negeri Yogyakarta).

18. Language

These Terms are provided in English and Bahasa Indonesia. If there is any inconsistency or difference in interpretation between the two versions, the Bahasa Indonesia version prevails, consistent with Law No. 24 of 2009 on the National Flag, Language, Emblem, and Anthem.
